Children's Ministries

At a designated time during the first half hour of the 9:30am Blended Worship service the children gather at the front of the sanctuary. The theme for that Sunday is presented in a short message in such a way that the children understand and are invited to use the lesson objective during the next week.

Children attending the 9:30 service may leave at the designated time to join Sunday school and are taken to the Education Building, room 13. Other children not in the 9:30am worship service also join them for Sunday School.

The Children's Choir is active September through May each year participating occasionally in all three services. This is an important formative experience as they learn the art of singing as well as a marvelous opportunity for all to celebrate the gift of our children. The choir rehearses on Mondays at 4:00pm.

Children between the ages of 6 and 10, after being trained, help set the tone for worship primarily in the 9:30am service. They present the light of Christ and Discipleship at the beginning of the service, help with the offering and sacraments and take the light of Christ and Discipleship out into the world at the end of the service. Watch for training dates and times.

This is a midweek ministry for children, youth and families. CROSSWALK meets on Wednesdays from 5:00pm through 8:00pm, two semesters (September through November and January through MArch) each year.

"Let everything that breathes praise the LORD!" Join us for a week of music, art, recreation and discovery at Galactic Blast: A Cosmic Adventure Praising God! Age 4 through 5th Grade. Registration $15.00, includes dinner. 5:00 ~ 8:00 July 19 ~ 23.

This is a state licensed Child Care that cares for children 3 years and under five days a week from 7:45amam-5:15pm. There is a fee for this ministry.

This is a state licensed Preschool for 3 and 4 year olds in a loving Christian environment. Classes are available 2, 3, 4 or 5 days a week from 9:00am to 11:30am. Extended care is also available. There is a fee for this ministry.

During the summer there is a weekend camp for children who have completed the 4th grade and who have not yet entered the 6th grade. This conference wide camp is held at the Sacramento Methodist Assembly, a beautiful rustic camp in the mountains of southern New Mexico.

Our nursery is available from 8:00am through 12:00pm each Sunday and may be scheduled for other times by contacting the church office.
