Worship Services
8:15am - Classic (Traditional) Service
The design of this service offers formal liturgy, sermon preached from
the pulpit and culminates in Holy Communion each week.
Our pastor wears
robe and stole. The United Methodist Hymnal is used extensively in this
service.
9:30am - Blended Service
The design of this service offers minimal liturgy, sermon preached from
the center of the platform and includes hymns and songs spanning at
least four generations. Our Praise Team begins the service. There is a
Children's Moment and then the children are free to go to Sunday School.
Anyone who prefers the use of hymnals and song books are welcome to do
so, but the words of all songs, hymns, liturgy and scripture are
projected on screens. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday
of each month.
11:15am - Contemporary Service
"The Flame"
The design of this service is very free. Our contemporary band "On Fire",
leads the entire experience with the exception of the message, which is
offered by our pastor. The message is preached in dialogue fashion. Holy
Communion is celebrated in a variety of ways on the first and third
Sundays of each month.
HOLY COMMUNION:
The Sacrament of Holy Communion is open to all persons present.
Worship Ministries
The most powerful thing Christians can do is to worship and praise God.
While worship can be either private or corporate, there is a clear
biblical call for us to gather together for worship on a regular basis.
When there is a strong sense of belonging, togetherness and community,
corporate worship is fulfilling. All services are dynamic, stirring and
inspiring the hearts of people, and providing hope that is found in our
loving God through Christ Jesus.
