Salvation: Grace, Faith, and Life Transformed

You don’t have to get your life together before coming to Jesus. He isn't waiting at the end of a long road to see if you are "moral enough" or "certain enough" to be welcomed or return home.
The gospel tells a completely different story: God’s grace meets you right where you are.
The Three Steps of Grace
In the United Methodist tradition, we understand faith through three distinct expressions of God’s active love:
1. Prevenient Grace (The Love That Precedes Us) God makes the first move. Before you ever seek God, ask for help, or even know His name, His love is already pursuing you. It shows up as a quiet longing for meaning, a desire to start over, or a pull toward prayer. No one is outside the reach of God's love. No. One.
2. Justifying Grace (The Love That Pardons Us) Out of unconditional love, God came to us in Jesus Christ. Through His life, death, and resurrection, Jesus broke the power of sin and death to restore our relationship with God.
“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” — Acts 4:12
Salvation is a free gift received through faith—not earned by effort, good behavior, or church attendance. When we place our trust in Jesus, we are forgiven and reconciled to God.
3. Sanctifying Grace (The Love That Transforms Us) Faith doesn't stop at salvation; it’s a lifelong journey. Sanctifying grace is the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit shaping us into the likeness of Christ. Over time, our love for God deepens, our habits change, and our love for our neighbors becomes active. In the Wesleyan tradition, true holiness changes both our personal hearts and how we serve the world.
Real People. Real Church. Real Jesus.
Knowing Jesus doesn't require performance or pretending. A real church isn’t here to shame you into hiding; it exists to help you meet Christ, find community, and grow in grace through everyday practices like prayer, scripture, and acts of service.
