As you gather...

Group of smiling people seated at a festive table with pumpkins and candles. Text reads "As You Gather." Warm, inviting atmosphere.

As Thanksgiving rolls around, I can’t help but think about how much 'I love my church'. I get

to do ministry with 'All Y'all' who care about one another, show up to serve, to worship, to

give, and to grow in faith. That’s something to be thankful for!

This season always reminds me that gratitude isn’t just about one big holiday meal—it’s

also about noticing God in everyday life. The laughter around your table, the smile of a

friend, the beauty of a crisp fall morning—all of it is a reminder that God is with us and that

He is Good!

reach out to someone who could use a little extra love this season—a call, a meal, or even a simple “I’m thinking of you.”

Our recent Sermon Series, “I Love My Church,” fits right into Thanksgiving. When we say we

love our church, we’re really saying we’re thankful for the people God has brought together

here at St. Paul’s. It’s the shared prayers, the acts of kindness, the moments of joy and even

the challenges that bring us together.

gratitude isn’t just about one big holiday meal—it’s also about noticing God in everyday life.

As you gather with family and friends this Thanksgiving, take a moment to thank God for

your church family too. And maybe reach out to someone who could use a little extra love

this season—a call, a meal, or even a simple “I’m thinking of you.” That’s what being the

church is all about.

I’m grateful for each of you.

Happy Thanksgiving!
