For over 25 years, St. Paul’s has been proud to host our beloved Warm and Fuzzy Tree, a special tradition that brings warmth and comfort to our community during the cold winter months. Each November into December, we invite everyone to contribute items that help keep those in need warm as the season turns chilly.
Our congregation and community members come together throughout November into early December to fill the tree with cozy donations—blankets, scarves, hats, gloves, and especially yarn for knitting. In past years, our donations represented over 500 skeins of yarn, a testament to our community’s generous spirit and dedication to being Hope in Action.
Once the tree is filled, we distribute these items in mid-December to local charities, non-profits and organizations, including but not limited to:
H.E.L.P. Shelter
Hope Works
Cuidando Los Niños (CLN Kids)
All Faiths Receiving Home
Pres. Neo-Natal Hospital
Three local Elementary School PTAs
These organizations serve families and individuals facing hardships, and your contributions make a real difference in their lives.
...we invite everyone to contribute items that help keep those in need warm as the season turns chilly.
Additionally, our church community begins knitting in early January and persists throughout the year to craft warm, cozy items through our "LoCKeT" (Learning Crocheting and/or Knitting Together) Small Group.
Join us in filling the Warm and Fuzzy Tree and spreading warmth, hope, and kindness during this winter season.
Together, we can make a cozy difference for many in our community!
